COFOUNDER AND CPO OF GOODIE BAG FOOD CO.

Goodie Bag started as a scrappy student idea and turned into a multi-city surplus food marketplace used by thousands.
Eddy (my cofounder and college roommate) and I launched the first version in 2022 during CU Boulder’s Startup Summer, where we ended up winning the pitch competition. We spent the following year in Boulder going door-to-door to local shops, building our proof-of-concept website, and - because we were broke - living out of my parents’ house.
Our first real partner was Barchetta, a pizzeria I used to work at. In January 2023, we began selling their leftover slices through Goodie Bag, and that early traction helped us get accepted into the Techstars Farm to Fork accelerator in Minneapolis. Over three intense months, we secured funding, built the first version of our app, and set the foundation for the company.
Since then, we were heads-down improving the product and launching market after market. Boulder, Fort Collins, Denver, Charlotte, Phoenix, Charleston, Madison, Milwaukee, Colorado Springs - each city meant another Airbnb, more late nights, and more local shops joining the mission.
I left he company in January of 2026. Over the 3.5 year venture we partnered with 400+ local businesses, saved more than 130,000 meals from going to waste, generated over $1M in GMV, saved customers over $2M on food, and raised roughly $3M in capital.
It was messy, scrappy, incredibly rewarding, and life consuming. Although at first my departure felt like failure, I soon realized it was part of my walk, and I am ready for a new chapter to serve people in other ways.

BRANDING + ART DIRECTION
For Goodie Bag, I built the brand from the ground up — crafting a visual identity that feels fresh, approachable, and mission-driven. I designed the full brand system, including logo, color palette, typography, iconography, and an expandable brand library that works across both digital and physical touch points.
My role spanned creative direction and execution for every major brand asset:
• Marketing collateral - coupons, cards, stickers, posters, merch
• Partner-facing materials - sales decks, leave-behinds, brochures, onboarding docs
• Investor materials - pitch decks and visual storytelling frameworks
• Large-format OOH advertising - billboards, bus wraps, transit shelter posters, digital kiosks
• Paid social - Meta ads and performance-optimized creative
• Environmental and community branding - event signage and physical brand extensions
As the brand evolved, I ensured visual consistency across all channels, shaping how customers, partners, and investors experience Goodie Bag at every touchpoint.

With a mobile-first approach, every page is built for clarity, speed, and visual consistency with the Goodie Bag brand. The design balances strong storytelling with strategic CTAs, creating an experience that feels modern, engaging, and built to convert.
I designed and built the Goodie Bag website to communicate our mission clearly while driving high-intent conversions for both customers and partner shops. The site uses bold, eye-catching visuals, clean navigation, and intuitive flows that guide visitors to sign up, download the app, or become a partner.

Content & Social Media —
Growing Voice From Zero to 10k

I led all of Goodie Bag’s content and social media strategy. What started as me shooting partner videos on an iPhone turned into a consistent stream of short-form content that helped define our brand and grow our Instagram to 10k+ followers.
I shot, edited, and produced hundreds of reels—documenting our road trips, highlighting local partners, capturing behind-the-scenes moments, and breaking down how the food system works. The goal was always the same: make local food culture feel exciting, human, and worth supporting.
I also ran all influencer collaborations, giveaways, and our broadcast channels, helping us reach new audiences and deepen engagement with existing users. The combination of storytelling, consistency, and community-building became a major growth engine for Goodie Bag.
